Description Very early melon. Delicious 51 produces 6″ round cantaloupes that have salmon orange flesh, sparse netting and very aromatic. Fruits weigh between 2-3 pounds and are slightly ribbed. Originated from Dr. Henry Munger of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. It soon established it’s reputation for being the best open pollinated melon for cooler climates. Sweet and delicious.
