This relic copper Jazz Bass pickguard set was made from 0.85 mm thick pure 100% copper. Copper plate was cut into form, and then we used our proprietary techniques to age the copper and give it a natural patina with a pattern resembling stripes on a tiger’s fur. That is why we named this pickguard “The Tiger”. Visually speaking this pickuard roars! �� This piece is truly unique and can never be reproduced to look the same because the process of aging and creating the patina is very unpredictable regarding the result. This can never be repeated in the same way, even if we tried to replicate it again. Matching control plate is also made of solid copper. ***If the images disappear for a while, it means we sold the piece that was made and photographed earlier, and are working on taking photos and recording a new video, for the new piece – which looks different, as each copper pickguard we make is 100% unique.
