This beautiful Jazz Bass scratchplate and matching control plate were made from 3 mm thick 3-ply solid wood. The Warrior Princess was first born in our studio as a painting in acrylic, but we loved her so much that we simply had to turn her into a pickguard. The wood plate was first cut and sanded, and then we used our proprietary technology to transfer the high quality laser image onto the wood. We also gave the Princess pickguard a touch of luxury: 7 sparkly Swarovski stones that sparkle in different colors (pink, purple, blue, yellow) were added to her crown as diamonds and secured by hand painting the circles around them in shiny resin. Two coats of matte-satin varnish were applied for protection.
