This beautiful, vintage Jazz Bass scratchplate and matching control plate were made from 2.8 mm thick 3-ply solid wood. The wood plate was first cut and sanded, and then we used our proprietary technology to transfer the high quality image of an old yellowed map onto the wood. Two coats of matte polyurethane-acrylic lacquer were applied for protection. This stunning pickguard and control plate look great on most Jazz Basses, giving them a very special, vintage look and feel. Your bass will proudly wear it!
